Duck Decoy Vintage Goldeneye by Clovis LeFebvre

I am selling part of my collection.
This is a Vintage Goldeneye Drake carved by Clovis LeFebvre (1850-1933) Alexandria Bay, which is the last United States exit prior to entering Canada in the Thousand Islands region of the St. Lawrence River in Norther New York State. LeFebvre was one of the earliest carvers of the area and is featured in the book ' Decoys of the Thousand Islands'.
This decoy has been repainted and has a curved, almost decorative lines carved into each side. The bill has a very old repair and is a bit short. The word 'calumet' is stamped into the bottom. I assume this was a hunting camp in the area as Calumet Island is situated in front of Clayton, NY on the St. Lawrence River. The solid bodied decoy is in nice shape otherwise. It measures 13.5" L x 6" H x 5" W.
