LORELEI
, Souvenir Program, Tryout, 1973.  The musical remake of GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES opened NYC on 01/27/74 and ran for 320 performances.  Inside are rehearsal photos, headshot photos, bios, photos of Channing with celebrities, background on the show, Ray Aghayan and Bob Mackie costume sketches and Hirschfeld drawings of Channing.  The cast includes Carol Channing, Dody Goodman, Tamara Long, Peter Palmer, Lee Roy Reams, Brandon Maggart, Brooks Morton, Jean Bruno, Bob Fitch and John Mineo.  Music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Leo Robin with new lyrics by Betty Comden & Adolph Green and book by Anita Loos & Joseph Fields with new book by Kenny Solms & Gail Parent (based on Gentlemen Prefer Blondes by Anita Loos).  Staged by Joe Layton.
Cover artwork by Morrow.  The program is complete.

This is a regular Playbill size program.
Condition is near excellent with minor wear.
CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
