    This auction is for ONE mint hammer for the M1 Garand rifle removed from the sealed Springfield Armory packs dated 1944.
    These are NOT used, refinished parts.
    These are UNISSUED hammers from WWII. and were exactly what was used during 1944 production. These were packaged by Springfield Armory for spare parts in the field repair units.
    The packaging has the original signatures of the counters and inspectors from the Springfield Armory in 1944.
    The hammers are all marked
    C46008-5
    have 100% of the original parkerized finish under a light coating of grease.
