Description
This is an ORIGINAL and COMPLETE M1910 canteen, cup and cover/carrier as issued to "Doughboys" during the Great War, WWI. The carrier is the correct pattern with the seam down the center of the back of the cover. The manufacturer of the carrier is F.S.F., with a date of November, 1918,
so all components have matching 1918 dates
. The aluminum canteen and cup are in VERY GOOD+ condition with a minimum of dents and were both manufactured by Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Co. ("AGM Co.").
Interestingly, the handle of the cup has a unit marking denoting the headquarters of the 107th Regiment (formerly the 7th "Silk Stocking" NYNG Regiment), which was one of four regiments in the 27th Infantry Division!
