The Houston Grand Opera production of the musical revival opened in NYC on 09/25/76 and ran for 122 performances
.   Inside are current and past production photos, headshot photos, bios, history of the production and an insert with headshot photos and bios of Alexander Smalls, Bruce A. Hubbard, Wilhelmenia Fernandez, Gail Nelson, Daisy Newman, Barbara Ann Webb and Andrew Meltzer.  The cast includes
Donnie Ray Albert, Clamma Dale, Larry Marshall, Wilma Shakesnider, Abraham Lind-Oquendo, Esther Hinds, Delores Ivory-Davis, Robert Mosley, Irene Oliver, Andrew Smith, George Robert Merritt, Elizabeth Graham, Alexander B. Smalls, Barbara Ann Webb, Queen Yahna and Betty Lane.
Music by George Gershwin, lyrics by DuBose Heyward and Ira Gershwin and book by DuBose Heyward (based on the play Porgy by Dorothy and DuBose Heyward).
Directed by Jack O'Brien and choreographed by Mabel Robinson

Souvenir programs are 9 x 12 inches but may vary somewhat in size.
Condition is near excellent with minor wear including light staining.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
