    Description

Just unpacked from a box that I packed away some 25-30 years ago comes this beautiful pink dinner plate in the "Rosemary" pattern of Depression Glass.  The "Rosemary" pattern, also known as "Dutch Rose", was manufactured by the Federal Glass Company from 1935-1937.  According to Gene Florence in his great book "Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass" (copyright 2004, 16th edition), this pattern was a reworking of Federal's "Mayfair" pattern due to Hocking Glass' earlier patent of the "Mayfair" name.  This pattern is easy to find in the amber color but QUITE DIFFICULT to find in the pink or green color.  It is a very heavy, durable pattern and very attractive!!  This dinner plate measures between 9 1/4" and 9 1/2" across.  It is in PRISTINE CONDITION with no chips, no damage, and almost no scratches.  There is no discoloration!!  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  You will be extra pleased with this dinner plate, especially considering its condition!!
