AN EXCEPTIONAL MINIATURE PAIR OF WIDGEON by John Wood, Venice, Fl. Excellent original paint and condition. Outstanding detailed paint to both. The drake with comb paint to sides and dappled paint to back. Paint ticking to lower head. The hen with fine detailed head ticking and detailed painted feather work overall. Both with raised wing tips and elongated tails. Both heads are carved in an alert position. Both retain triangular weights and rigging. Both signed by maker. Custom stands included.
