Vintage Lrg. Beautifully Carved Flying Canadian Goose by Richard A Morgan 1997

Description

Vintage very large carving of a flying Canadian Goose by renowned carver Richard A. Morgan. The carving is held by a piece of beautiful cedar driftwood. The carving is very beautifully painted wood body and metal wings with glass eyes. The carving has RAM 97 stamped on the bottom of the body as shown in the pictures. The original paint is well done and does show a beautiful patina of aged paint. The goose is mounted to a nice piece of cedar driftwood. The goose does appear to be in flight with a large 31 inch metal wing span. The body carving is solid with no wear, metal wings are light and not removable from the body. The large decoy’s wing span is 31” and from it’s bill to the tail 20 1/2” and 15” tall from stand to the top of the body. The cedar stand measures 7”x 5” x 2 1/2” tall.
