Large Vintage New England Eider Duck Decoy, very old, very heavy, carved out of a solid block of wood by an unknown early carver. Captures the distinctive style and silouette of the eider nicely. A great piece of folk art. Condition is basically sound with age and use associated dings and cracks and old repairs, adding to the charm of this old decoy.
