Vintage Upper Chesapeake Bluebill Drake Duck Decoy, repaint

Description

This is an upper Chesapeake decoy painted many times over.  The last coat was a decorative one with an imaginative patterning on the back, being one person's interpretation of a bluebill's vermiculation.  The bill broke off some time ago and was re-attached, long before I acquired it, but the head is solidly attached.  It has great form and really looks good on a shelf, 14 1/2" long and body is 13" long.  Interestingly, the bottom side of the head has green paint that wasn't covered by the last layer.
