VTG 1940's VICTORY Farm-yard Wood Puzzle 24"x13" w 12 STAND ALONE LARGE ANIMALS
Vintage 1940's VICTORY Farm-yard Large Wood Puzzle 24"x13" with 12 large animals that are part of the puzzle, but also stand alone for play.  Puzzle is complete in very good condition and in original box. Box in fair to good condition. There were some splits in the box which have been repaired with archival tape. But so nice to still have the original box.  (shows signs of wear) Colors on the puzzle are clear and bright. Some minor scuffing consistant with age.
Puzzle includes 12 farm animals which can be played with alone. They stand up by themselves. (see pics) The wooden puzzle pieces are very thick, measuring 1/4" thick.
The puzzle says it is for ages 6-8. However, my husband and I put it together and found it pretty challanging because of the thickness of the wood and the addition of the animals makes for some pretty unusual pieces.  I changed the age to 8-80
Please note that this is NOT the "Tray Puzzle". This is the older 1/4" wood jig-saw puzzle with animals that stand alone. Also, the puzzle and box weigh over 3.5 lbs with no packaging.
